Columbus Regional Hospital is a regional referral center fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, which serves a 7-10 county area in Southeastern Indiana inhabited by nearly one-third of a million people.
Columbus Regional Hospital is the first hospital in Indiana and 88th in the nation to receive Magnet status by the American Nurses Credentialing Center recognizing excellence in nursing services.
The Society of Chest Pain Centers has granted the designation of Accredited Chest Pain Center to Columbus Regional Hospital; making it only the 4th accredited Chest Pain Center in IN and the 64th in the nation.

Programs include cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, sophisticated diagnostic procedures including CT scan, MRI, coronary angioplasty and intervention, cardiac catheterization and cardiac surgery, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, wellness services and a full range of inpatient care.
