Cleveland Clinic Florida expanded its organization to Naples approximately four years ago, along with a strategic plan to bring the Cleveland Clinic reputation of world-class healthcare quality to southwest Florida residents. Today, Cleveland Clinic Florida-Naples is a fully integrated medical campus that includes a modern clinic housing physicians representing more than 20 different specialties plus a state-of-the-art surgery center, fully-equipped diagnostic center and a new, 70-bed hospital all in a single location. Initially planned as a 3-phase project, Cleveland Clinic Florida-Naples is now complete with the opening of Cleveland Clinic Hospital. The hospital is the first of its kind in Florida to introduce a revolutionary new concept in patient care, healing hospitality, in which patients and their loved ones are accommodated in a welcoming environment with a dual focus on medical healing and patient comfort. The 184,000-square-foot clinic is the site where Cleveland Clinic Florida-Naples' medical staff resides and where patients go to see their physicians. Not only attractive and intelligently-designed, the clinic is appointed with high-tech medical equipment throughout. The hospital adds an additional 120,000 square feet to the integrated facility. The state-of-the-art surgery center, which opened the same year as the clinic, has four operating rooms, six endoscopy rooms and 22 recovery beds, enabling physicians to perform a wide range of minimally invasive outpatient procedures. The center is equipped with the latest in endoscopic and laparoscopic instruments. A well-equipped diagnostic center is shared by the clinic and hospital, providing a full range of non-invasive and invasive radiology services, imaging, laboratory services, and more. Community, Facility, & Organization Cleveland Clinic Florida Weston One of the newest medical centers in the state of Florida, Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston ? located in the southeastern region of Broward County, Florida ? is also one of the most advanced. Like its twin facility in Naples, Cleveland Clinic Florida Weston is a fully-integrated campus including a state-of-the-art Clinic housing a medical staff with more than 120 physicians practicing more than 40 different medical specialties, as well as a full-service hospital with 150 beds. A 24-hour emergency department, open heart surgery, and kidney transplantation are among the many services available. The Cleveland Clinic Foundation of Cleveland, Ohio and Tenet Healthcare Corporation, a national health care provider based in Santa Barbara, California, partnered to build and operate the Weston hospital. While Cleveland Clinic is responsible for all clinical care as well as research and education programs, Tenet Healthcare manages Cleveland Clinic Hospital. |
