A facility near Jacksonville, NC is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to work a locum tenens job in their adult inpatient unit. The locum tenens job is primary for caring for mental illness and patients needing substance abuse detox. The locum tenens job is available immediately and until they find permanent placement. The locum tenens psychiatrist will see on average 14 patients a day and will be on-call one night a week and will be responsible for inpatient rounds one weekend a month.
Ideal candidates must have a strong work ethic, good interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to excellent patient care and a team-oriented attitude.
